Hi Thomas, ecobee app does work on rooted devices but only fails to secure users credentials on certain rooted phones. Sorry for the inconvenience. We have a solution and would like to add you to our beta program to unblock you. Email [email protected] subject: “beta program” to receive an invitation to participate.
