I've been playing for almost a year at this point, and I've never spent money on it. I'm currently on the "exclusive level" (hit level 7,301, so instead of advancing levels I'm earning stars until there's more to keep going up). Some days I play a lot. Some days I barely play, but I always log in for my daily reward. My daughter usually does the makeovers. Overall, I don't have any issues unless I need to update it. No ads unless I watch one for 2 additional moves.

The game seemed great at first, but very very quickly it becomes obvious you can't beat several levels without power ups. I shouldn't be forced to use level ups, or pressured into using gems for extra moves on impossible levels so I don't miss out on items. I'm addition it takes forever to get money and makeover steps cost so much. It takes so long to get enough money to do anything. It's unbalanced. I don't spend money on games and this is an obvious cash grab.

LOVE this game! Only gripe is you basically, like most games, have to spend money to advance. Lots of options to customize character & background. Drama stories can be annoying but other than that I enjoy. Game is basically like Candy Crush but w/ fashion & room design in between. Not sure what people are saying about all the ads, for unless once in a while I want to watch 2 ads to get extra bombs, basically I never have to watch ads. I lead a Clique, & options keep getting better every update.
