The Affirm Card is a VisaⓇ debit card issued by Evolve Bank & Trust, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Pay-over-time plans must be applied for each purchase in the mobile app, are subject to eligibility checks and are provided by affirm.com/lenders. Minimum purchases are required for pay over time plans; the amount is located in the Card tab of the app. For purchases that are not approved for and matched to a payment plan, you authorize Affirm to initiate an ACH debit from your linked bank account within 1-3 days of the purchase. CA residents: Loans by Affirm Loan Services, LLC are made or arranged pursuant to a California Finance Lenders Law license. For licenses and disclosures, see affirm.com/licenses.

Rates from 0 - 36% APR. Loan options vary, are subject to eligibility, and may depend on whether your loan is applied for before or after your card purchase. There are minimum purchase amounts for loans, a down payment may be required, and may not be available in all states. The Affirm Money Account is held with Cross River Bank (CRB), Member FDIC. Affirm is not an FDIC-insured bank. FDIC insurance covers accounts held with CRB in the event of a CRB failure.

Unable to save communication preference of email only. I tried to select only email because, for months, I have not been receiving email confirmation of my payments, for my records. I thought it might make a difference if I unselected Push Notifications and left checked, only email; however, the save button didn't work, with several attempts. I thought of Uninstaller and reinstalling the app, but did not uninstall, due to concern that I'd have to re-enter all of my information again.

Good app, but what does that matter when the service is awful. The worst Pay-In-4 service yet. Oh sure, you don't pay up front, unless you go Monthly. But they're so strict and so picky with how things are done its unusable. Loyalty gets you nowhere with them. No options to reschedule a payment, and if you do miss a payment, good luck ever getting purchase power with them again. Even with a good credit score, they still do you wrong. Don't ever use this, save yourself and use something RELIABLE

When it works, Affirm is a very fair, very reasonable way to pay for big purchases -- when it works. The problem is that you have to jump through so many damned hoops to get it to work or to verify your existing account that it is a genuine hassle to use. Purchases can be lost by random time-outs, the app refusing to access your device's camera (which it has permission to), or any other assortment of random things. Definitely a mixed bag.
