There doesn't seem to be a way to create an account for this app. The app says 'you can create an account on the previous page', but it lies. I'm tired of digging through links & menus. Somebody seriously dropped the ball when it came to usability testing! Hopefully the MTA will roll its payment terminals out to the metro north system soon, so we'll be able to just tap to pay for the train like in civilised countries. Then we won't have to stuff around with these silly propriety apps any more.

Constantly malfunctioning. I've had to pay for tickets ON BOARD because the app doesn't open or load. Yes, very convenient when it works but if u can afford to, pay at the station for a physical ticket. If u don't use it, it's good for a year!!! Tickets you buy on the app are only good until the next morning at 4 AM.

I wish I read the reviews before I tried using the app. Which usually I do. All the negative reviews are accurate. The double one way tixs (same stations) when you purchased round trip. The $10 fee when you're under 2 minutes. Traveling with daughter and two grandkids for an afternoon in the city. Afraid of what will happen when I actually use the train in a few hours! Again, based on the bad reviews that are so far correct. I will never use this app again.
