So I returned to Live after not playing since launch and it seems improved from where it used to be. I'm also on a good phone now, a Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, the game still has some issues, like sometimes when I draw a card it will be backwards shiwing the default pokemon card back with no sleeve showing and I can't do anything with the card, so it's a dead draw. Other than that everything else is running smoothly. No more freezing and time outs with a high end phone.

Terribly optimized garbage. I've lost over a dozen matches in the past week from constant freezing when using cards, causing my turn to run out of time while I'm unable to take any actions. This is a consistent, relentless problem that's only gotten WORSE. Don't even bother trying to play ranked with the current state of the game. In fact, I wouldn't really recommend this game to anyone as of the writing of this review.

I love the concept and most of the game play! But occasionally I hit a game that either lags, or will lock into an animation until my turn is skipped automatically. Last game, it didn't count any of my previous turn; so despite having benched pokemon I had just put down, I lost due to not having benched pokemon 😭 I lost 40 points on the leader board from that one loss.
