Update: Latest update is totally ad centric and ruins the gaming experience. Dropping to 2 stars and uninstalling. Mildly challenging puzzles, daily themes, minimum amount of ads. Well designed game. Bravo developers! Update 11/17/25. Gave this one a second chance last week. Version 1.748.0 is much improved and more challenging than the earlier review. Ads seem to be inline with other free games.

Hi! Thanks for writing to us. Ads can be annoying, but it is through ads that we keep the game free for all our players. To get rid of the ads, you can visit our in-game store (the coin icon on the top of your home screen). Here, you can purchase one of our "No Ads" packages, or become a subscriber and enjoy additional benefits. Hope this helps!

It's a fun way to pass the time. Biggest gripe is I paid for ad free but there's still ads all over. After you finish a game, before you start a game (even if you didn't click for an ad for free power up), they're there. If you pay for ad-free you should get ad-free. Seems kinda like a rip off. The only thing I got out of that deal was coins.

I like that you can still play this game with our a network connection. There is no way to watch a video for extra hints or coins if you are not connected but you still get to play. Most videos are optional if connected, except a video after every crossword. The adds don't pop up every one or two mins like other games plus a crossword takes longer that most rounds on an average game so it doesn't seem as annoying. The crosswords themselves range from easy to hard and I enjoy all of them.
