Horrendous app. Background noise doesn't stay on overnight and defeats the purpose of having it. They locked simple features behind a subscriptuon. Wish I c.uld rate negative stars. Password requirements are absurd. All it says is "password not strong enough" regardless of how many mixed up numbers symbols and capitals that I add. They are here for predatory profit. Do yourself a favor, go with a different monitor

The app itself works pretty well as an audio and video monitor with some built-in information (noise detection, motion detection, when was the last bit of activity in view). I'm a big fan of the up-firing night light and white noise as options for people who don't want standalone options. There are some issues where the baby will be in the frame and yet it thinks the baby was taken out of the crib already.

App frequently crashes, telling me that my phone doesn't have signal when it for sure does. If my baby is crying/in trouble, this is a real problem as I can't see whats going on in there and have to restart my phone. The app frequently will get the times/analytics mixed up so you're off by an hour or weird lag (wildly inaccurate). You also can't take the Nanit anywhere that has shared WiFi (like a hotel). I only gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because when it DOES work, it's a great monitor/app.
