Im a huge fan of digital boardgames (Chainsaw Warrior, Talisman, Arcane Quest, Xenoshyft, etc...), and this one hits the mark and sticks the landing. Mechanics, gameplay, design, UI, sound effects, etc, are all AAA, considering the genre. Gameplay is as linear as any boardgame, meaning there's a fair amount of freedom given to the player, all the while still telling a story. There's really no guessing where to movie, since the player piece moves automatically (you just decide where to move). 5/5

So this game is an improvement over the previous one. You have lives now. Deathtrap Dungeon is very difficult to beat. Same as last time I just dont wanna sink so much time into a game like this. Difficulty is hard. Its easy to die and if you don't have all the gems for the end of the level than you get sent back to the beginning of the game until you get those gems. This is a good game but its just too hard for me. Brutal difficulty, dice rolls can go wrong and the dungeon is repetitive.

A really nice choose-your-own adventure type of game that has a boardgame like presentation. The dice roll mechanics are very simple and straight-forward and yet it create tense and exciting situations. While a major aspect of the game is pretty determined, the game does incorporate some rogue-like elements (cards) which helps create variation in every playthroughs. I really like the art, atmosphere, sounds and music which helps inspire your imaginations (a must in this kinds of game). 5/5.
