I can finally get rid of Blackplayer! Blackplayer had been a pain in the scroat for a long time, but there wasn't another player with an interface I liked. Didn't bother looking again until the BSOD equivalent for a player appeared ("error loading track" for all songs). Pulsar found all the songs on my phone REALLY fast. It even pulled a track I edited to combine two live tracks into one long song. Pulsar only recreated half of my Blackplayer playlists, but that's a minor quibble.

This is by far my favorite audio player. Works almost seamlessly with Android auto. I subtracted 1 star because when browsing folders, it flattens all the folders. For example it shows all sub-folders in a single list rather than letting you select a folder and drill down. That's how I usually browse my collection and it just doesn't work for me. However, although I can save playlists, whenever I try to restore it says it can't find them.

Good music player, but incomplete for Windows users. Pulsar supports Windows playlists (WPL) and M3U. However, it can't read music in OneDrive. It also can't understand genres for songs with more than one. For Windows users, these have been features for years and are essential for syncing and enjoying music on both Windows and Android. Would also be nice if it had an option to only list artists that have albums, so, say, every Christmas compilation doesn't spawn 30 artists each with 1 song.
