About this app

Developed with Watch Face Format

Vanishing Hour is a Wear OS watch face produced in an official collaboration between Layton Diament and Luka Kilic. It features a centered view of the current hour, which β€œvanishes” as the minute hand moves forward. The concept is a bold, elegant hybrid of a digital and analog clock β€” and serves as a subtle reminder of how quickly time passes.

The original design was a finalist in a contest for the Moto 360 watch in 2014. You can read more about it at: https://www.diament.co/post/vanishing-hour-watch-face

I can't tell if I can or can't make this 24 hour clock, it'd be nice if that was an option. all the apps tell me it's 'synced to phone' but my phone is 24 hour clock so am I missing something? and the date/time option won't work. also yes a second hand would be helpful for the click, I use it to time stuff for work. would be a nice upgrade. even if it's invisible to keep the minimal

Great look! Only problem is it has a bug - when I try to get rid of the complication it doesn't stay this way too long and then complication icon comes back soon after, just empty - that ruins the look unfortunately ⌚ I love this watch face and hope the developers can fix this bug sometime soon 😌 cause I really want to use it without the complication icon - it looks superb and clean. Looking forward to change to 5 stars when the problem is solved 😁

I am changing this review. It seems I was having a moment πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. What I thought was a second hand is a minute hand. So, it works as now expected, I found it when I went into settings and saw 'minute hand' πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. It looks really smart. The reason I wanted it was its minimalistic on the watch face, so many have so much on and is distracting. I recommend it 100%, but remember, it's a minute hand, not a second hand. Luca, apologies for the original review, it was my mistake.
