Mostly using Amazon music is a positive experience, but there are 2 key points that need addressing. The music skips often. I didn't even know digital music could skip but it does. The app does not respond often and has to be reopened. it's annoying to do things twice when you pay for the service. I've been observing both of these issues becoming increasingly worse. The music selection is great.

When the app is working correctly, it's fantastic. It has all of my favorites, and it gives a lot of excellent recommendations and great playlists. The problem is that the app is constantly glitching. A few months ago, it took forever to load a song, and then that got fixed. Now, I can't listen to all of my music bc it starts playing a song, then abruptly stops and won't play beyond that point. Or, I try to put my songs on shuffle, and it keeps playing the same song/few songs. Do better, Amazon!

Downgraded from 5 stars to 1. Edit 2024: This app is absolutely atrocious. I have no ability to purchase songs in app, as it only offers me the subscription service now. No ability to support the artists I like, and no way to own the music I listen to. Beyond that, the UI is laggy, buggy, and oftentimes does not do what is asked. 2019: I thoroughly enjoy using this app to listen to music. Initially it wasn't particularly good to be honest, but over the years it has vastly improved.
