Responsiveness when setting up a smart map is a little questionable. I would like the ability to do more map editing or rerun a single room rather than having to rerun the entire mapping process. When changing components, the promoted feedback could use another option such as "full" or "dirty." A link to a lower cost parts supplier would also be handy; iRobot charges too much for replacement parts.

Using this app presents a bit of a learning curve but not a steep one. After 3+ years I've more or less mastered it and the little quirks it presents. The interface is intuitive and it is easy to map out various jobs and areas once the robot has run its discovery. A couple items of note: 1. The app running on IPad was unpredictable when I first started, I have not been brave enough to try doing any of the map or job items since then. The problem was that it wiped out all jobs and custom area

Edit this is one of the worst apps I have ever used. If the Roomba is unable to dock with the base station, we would never know. There's no notification that there's an issue. If there's a cleaning schedule, the Roomba will not clean because it isn't charged. There's no notification that the cleaning schedule has not been followed. I, the user, must remember that there is a schedule and then check to see if the cleaning occurred.
