This game 1) Is pretty pointless 2) Heats up the battery to a level, which is uncomfortable to the touch while you're doing the only action in the game, HOLDING YOUR FINGER ON THE AR. I mean painful heat after a minute. 3) The keyboard permissions caused every app I ran after closing to ANR/hang whether or not the app was running fine otherwise. Some apps couldn't even bring up the keyboard, and then they'd crash.

The idea is great, and I'll probably keep playing the game for quite some time. However, there are some issues. It heats up the battery a ton so extended use is a no go, it crashes or bugs out constantly where suddenly you can't collect any pollen despite being in a field of 100 seeds all around you. I have to keep rebooting the game every 5 minutes or so for it to even function, and there's no way to even see the battle that happens between beasts. Edit: 24 hours since I could plant any seeds.

EDIT 5/23/23: After almost a month of playing, I started to see more upsides and downsides. Pros: Anyone and everywhere, including rural areas, can play it, and it's fun planting neon forests anywhere irl. Cons: Photo mode doesn't work, battles are mostly pay-to-win (but that's an option if you want to upgrade faster), the phone overheats easily, and lagging issues. Once they fix the issues, I might come back. This is more promising than other AR games I've played. Android Galaxy A52.

What's new

Scanner update!
🔁 Continous actions - Now you can feed your beast, nourish your trees and add mites multiple times, just by holding down the button.
🌳 Area yield - see the amount of pollen produced by the trees in your area. Where is the most productive forest on earth?
⚡ Optimisations - the scanner is now less resource intensive, so the app should run smoother across all devices
