The revamp is cool, and I'm glad my previous favourites were saved through the transition. Admittedly, I prefer the colors in the old interface, as they were much gentler on the eyes and easier to read with a higher contrast (especially for us visually impaired folks). Having an intensely white background on top of bright purple is not conducive to nighttime meditation. Hoping that is altered soon

I just downloaded the new update and I cannot believe what has happened to the app. Smiling minds has basically saved my life and now it's a garish garbled mess of random unorganized meditations and awful color and font choices. I can't make heads and tails out of it. Plus months of progress and curating are gone! Frankly the new layout is such a mess that it caused me anxiety. I really don't understand what happened but if the app doesn't revert I am removing it from my phone.

I have used Smiling Mind to help me sleep for a while now, and the meditations are great for helping me get to sleep or get back to sleep when I wake up anxious in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, the new color scheme is not useful for helping with sleep. The white marble background is far too bright for me. I noticed a dark mode in the preferences, but it doesn't seem to be working. I hope the devs get it sorted soon.

What's new

This update gives you the option to disable the backing track during audio sessions. It also includes some minor improvements and bug fixes. We're always improving the Smiling Mind App, and welcome your feedback and ideas at [email protected].
