Just installed the vitoconnect 100. Crazy setup for sure. Setup and app setup needs work to simplify. I have a good understanding of networking, so that made it a bit easier. The App , well useless i think. Very limited information. Lacks email, text, or push notifications for boiler errors etc.. Honesty i am scratching my head in disbelief. Since installed my vitocrossal 300 CUA, and programmed it , i know Viessman had a smart engineers. They need to talk to each other.

Hello Mike, since your last feedback we have done some updates of ViCare and done a lot regarding functions and data. The stability has also been optimized - we assume that the control of your Viessmann heating system now works perfectly?! We are looking forward to your feedback! #WeCare

Just installed new Vitocrossal-199 CU3a and Large Vitocell. Love the boiler. I am quite disappointed with VICare by comparison. I want remote-control of full boiler User Interface from my phone- all features and functions. VICare is not full access to boiler controls. Useless unless you want to see local temperature. If you want to access boiler menus, make edits or change shift and slope for heating circuit or zone control - forget it. There are several 'VITOTROL PLUS apps available, all crashed my Samsung S7 Same comments from others confirming this. VITOTROL features is what I want. GREAT BOILER - REALLY INADEQUATE VICare application

Dear John, please give ViCare at least a chance! ;) We are currently developing the heating curve settings for the app, also further system data will be integrated step by step. If you want to use the Vitotrol App, you have to install Vitocom 100 as intenet interface instead of Vitoconnect. Your local installer will support you! #WeCare

Go back to the drawing board folks and make this user friendly I have been up and down the stars to my basement several times - the installer should be sure this is done before leaving the premises and your process requires a complete overhaul. I have just wasted a great deal of time and can't complete the process. Technology is not my strength but you have tested it. I failed
