The game has a lot of potential. The gameplay is smooth, and the controls are pretty easy. The reason I'm taking off a star is the cars, and their details seem to have been made by a non car person. For example, two of the purchasable cars in the class 4 tier are the Dodge Challenger R/T and the Dodge Ram SRT-10. The specs for the cars are wildly off, and the handling rating is somehow higher for the Ram. I can promise that does not reflect reality. That being said, the game is pretty enjoyable.

First level is fun. However, every time you advance to the next stage of the campaign a new car is required. It takes hours and hours of grinding cash to pay for the upgrades to even participate in the first race. It takes longer and longer at each new stage. Of course you do have the option of buying the upgrades with real cash. Not exactly pay to play, but close enough for me.

Google Play is flooded with racers, and I've lost count with how many I've tried. CarX Highway is my favorite street racer for Android. Graphics and gameplay are flawless. Framerate is perfect, as well as the controls. A huge collection of cars in every class, from the lowest entry level up to supercars. The career mode is addictive and racing multi-player is just as fun on the beautiful highways, running from the cops. A premium subscription is affordable, and I subscribed.
