I can't stand the new format. If it ain't broke, break it??? Update: So after using the app for a few months, I took it from 2 stars down to 1. I get notifications of interesting stories, however when I click the link a blank window opens every time. I go to the app itself to view the story and scroll and scroll and scroll, then give up when it's not there. If your target audience is people with the attention span of an ant, you've hit the mark perfectly.

This is my fourth review in 6 years. This app continues to have major problems. When clicking on the front window notification it goes to a blank a screen within the app. Presumably it's loading the page, but the page stalls out. Frustrating! Great news station but Disney is (apparently) cheaping out. I have nearly given up on this app. Please simplify this app to make it work better. Samsung note 9 and 3xl. Don't blame the hardware.

I like the app. Easy to use and always up to date. I like being able to keep tabs on local news when I am away from home. However it is annoying to open a story that I would like to read only to have a Jack-in-the-box and blare out at full volume. If I scroll down just to read the story, the ad just starts over. If I want to view the video, fine; I will just let it play. But if I just want to read the item the ad ought to go away or at least mute out.
