Truck Star

It's your basic match 3 game. Just like King What's His Name. What I love about this one is you get to remodel and bring back to life some old cars and trucks. The match 3 levels are challenging and fun and the little side games are fun also. Being that this is a review, I'll give my one complaint. there needs to be a way to get more customizing options. Especially with the paint colors. Other than that it's a cool game.

Another money-hungry app. Recently, developers nearly doubled user costs for renovating trucks, while also dramatically increasing the difficulty in finishing stages that result in various rewards. You can't progress in the game without either repeating the same stage multiple times (even 10x), or by buying items that make it easier to get to the next level. Also, the trucks don't actually do anything but get renovated by you. The cycle is endless. Nice graphics and sound, but sucks overall.

While fun and addicting at first, the more you progress, the more it becomes a pay to win type of game. It gives you little choice on what moves to make without wasting them or having to use power ups. I'm at level 700+ now and it's more frustrating than anything. If you don't intend on spending money to buy coins or packs to progress, you likely won't get anywhere very quick.
