This does not feel like an Earn to Die game, it's more "Earn the Ability to Enjoy the Game by Watching Ads". In the older games ads weren't very common, you didn't need to use them to beat the game, but to just play a watered down version of car driving you need to watch very, very many ads. Plus the art style is not very faithful to the originals, basically "Guns, Gore, and Cannoli" but with the upgrade system, with driving sections sprinkled in.

You can clearly tell there's a SIGNIFICANT pay wall. It may be "free to play" but definitely not free to progress. I'm on board 4 n can't advance in anything unless I upload. The other major issue is, there's WAY TO MANY perks. It's hard to upgrade good ones or even anything more than once. N the final issue is, the game automatically targets the closet monster which makes it way harder to advance. Good time passer for a day or so

The introduction told me everything I needed to know. Features are introduced as they're naturally uncovered, and it doesn't feel like bloat at the start. The power ups are fun and engaging, the rogue elements are nice and the gameplay is decently challenging. I wish the rooms had a bit more variety, but the enemy layouts themselves are nice. No driving after a few hours is odd but probably a good choice to differentiate the sequel. I'd play it! and will continue to do so.
