Voting and Karma:
Instead of likes and hearts, Reddit’s social network runs on upvotes or downvotes. Voting on posts and comments increase or decrease the creator’s karma, and helps popular and relevant posts rise to the top, while filtering out low-quality or irrelevant posts.
While karma doesn't directly impact your ability to use Reddit, more karma can increase posts’ visibility and help you get noticed. Some communities require karma to post or comment, which helps maintain content quality and community standards.

Join the largest social media platform and discover everything that piques your interest!

Pick a layout and stick with it. First you change the placement to download images, such that it's in a more inconvenient spot, especially when downloading multiple images. Then after my muscle memory gets used to this, you change it's placement, which now puts the "hide" button where it used to be, which is the opposite of what I want. It was fine in the top right corner, pick a layout and stick with it Also, how many times do I have to make it clear, I don't like ads about AI. Please stop.

And yet again, a new update, a new bug. The most current version freezes and blacks out constantly. Absolutely horrible experience with this app! Literally every "update" reduces usability. This most current one has broken nearly every post I click on. I've read "We had some trouble getting to Reddit" more than any content. 9 out of 10 posts fail to load thr first time. 7 out of 10 don't load at all. Useless and unusable!

Sadly it's still a garbage app. The third party apps were all better, fact. Ignoring that, they've still had literally years to make this something usable. They chose ads, not usability. It exists. It's the only non-web access point to the site (without work). You're better off on a browser until they kill that too.
