About this app

With a single swipe in the app, you can check in and travel by bus, train, metro, and light rail throughout the country, except Bornholm.

You are one of the first to travel with Rejsekort as an app. In the near future, the app will be updated with more features and made available to more users.

Right now, you can use the app if you travel as an adult without discount. This is because special discounts, e.g. pensioner discounts, are not available yet. You also need MobilePay, as this is the only way you can pay for your trips in this version of the app.

HOW IT WORKS
With a single swipe in the app, you can travel by bus, train, metro, and light rail. The app automatically detects if you change means of transport along the way, so you don't have to check in again. If you turn on 'Smart check out' in the app settings, the app will remind you to check out.

Once you arrived at your final destination and are standing at the station, you can end your journey in the app with one swipe. When you have checked out, you can see your route and the price of your journey under the menu item History. You will be billed for your journeys once a day.

To issue a valid ticket, calculate your route and its price correctly, the app makes a match between the GPS in your phone, the stations or stops you drive past on your journey and timetables from Rejseplanen. Therefore, you must give the app access to your location - always.

Ok, I had expected a disaster of an app, knowing the error-prone, over-budget and frustrating experience that was the early days of the Rejsekort project. But not only does the app work flawlessly on Android, it's also user-friendly and somewhat clever about using gps to determine checkout location. And you get a nice illustration showing your route. My only gripe is that we should have had this app years ago.

It is a bit stupid that battery saving mode has to be disabled. What if the phone dies while on a trip and it could have been prevented by activating battery saver. How do you check in a bike to the metro and other normal add-ons? Basics work well, but looking forward to updates to extend functionality!

Works when it wants. My app locked after it couldn't settle a payment for unknown reason. It tells me to check my payment settings. I did, added mobilepay and another card on top. Still locked with same message and no option to settle the journey. Expected answer time from customer service is TWO WEEKS to settle this. There needs to be an option in the app to settle these kinds of things.
