Completely useless app that keeps crashing. The "solution" to make it not crash is to completely change the way I use my phone. The developers refuse to acknowledge they are the problem, even though (1) none of the other HSBC apps for other countries have the same issues and (2) there is a flood of feedback on Play store and other forums telling them how their rationales and workarounds don't make sense. Terrible experience.

Compared to other bank apps, this feels very primitive and lacking in functions. There are some basic functions but otherwise it links to external website. Unable to find an option (if it even exist), tried the chat now but no reply for over 15 minutes. Probably faster calling in instead. Ended up logging in via browser to get work done. Oh... the app was useful in generating the code to log in. Yeah...

The UI/UX is definitly not user friendly and has to be improved. Below average compared to other banks. For instance, there no particular option to pay for the credit card, instead the app required the user to do a transfer from one account to another account. No clear info to indicate they way of paying. I used the in-app assistant chat, the assistant just gave me an document of how to do the transfer. This is definitely not user friendly. Also, for the time deposit, can't find the tenor.
