LEGO® Builder is the official LEGO® building instructions app that will guide you on an easy and intuitive building adventure.
Step into a new world of building
- LEGO Builder allows you to build with a fun, 3D modelling experience where you can zoom and rotate LEGO construction sets.
- Rotate individual bricks to find the colour and shape you need, for each step of the LEGO building experience.
Build Together!
- Build Together is a feature on the LEGO Builder app that lets you tackle your LEGO instructions as a team, by delegating each builder their own creative tasks to complete!
- Share your PIN code and join as a host or player. Take your turn, complete a building step, then pass to the next person to share the fun!
- Check if your set is supported in the app.

- Search and explore the full library of LEGO instructions for sets from 2000 to today.
- You can also scan the QR code located on the front cover of your paper LEGO instructions manual to open it directly in the app.

It was exciting to see an update available. I thought: "Awesome, they surely fixed the age check math quiz and I'll be able to register sets again." Nope, not fixed. What is so difficult about fixing this bug? Why not just roll back to a previous version? This app has two primary purposes, and one of them is completely broken. Embarrassing.

I love the new 3d models that can be manipulated when assembling your project. They are very helpful over the old 2d pinch and zoom. I am frustrated by the bug where the main page lists the projects you're working on and your progress. When I tap on the project, it won't open. I have to search for the model again to open to where I left off.

For building instructions, the app is a 5/5. For QR codes to register sets, this is a 1/5 experience. Each time you scan a code, you have to go from the app to web browser. Even for an adult account, you have to answer a math question to transfer out of the app. The problem is, the math question stops accepting answers after the first QR scan. You have to keep closing the math question modal multiple times before it becomes responsive again. Massive PITA, lowers the average score significantly.
