Generally I love the app. However, there is a problem with sending pictures from my Samsung Gallery. When I attach a picture within a text it gets converted to a ! symbol. I have to send pictures by themselves and not witin a text. Haven't been here for a while but everything is working now. I can send pictures within a text and they don't get converted to a ! symbol now. Thanks!!!!

Not receiving notifications for half of my texts. All notifications enabled, do not disturb turned off, cleared cache, updated, uninstalled, restarted, no signal or carrier issues, I don't use any other texting app. Been going on for a couple months and I've been using this app for years. Has caused too many issues by not getting notifications for work texts. Been waiting for a fix but Textra never admits there's a problem when someone complains it doesn't work. Time to find a new app.

I've been using Textra for years. It's a great messaging app with a lot of nice features, including customization by chat. One feature that is lacking is the ability to search within a specific chat. The search feature searches all of your chats and you can't limit it to a specific person. This makes finding things very difficult (as it will also search within the person's name, so if you're trying to find when John mentioned Jane, it will also give you every chat you've had with any Jane).
