I'm happy with how simple this is. One niggly thing: even if you want to control through Bluetooth alone, an internet connection is required. Can we get the app to startup and just use the last known set of devices if there is no internet? Can even notify the user that they're operating in "no internet" mode. Aside, but related: please come out with a simple smart button that I can put on might night table. I have a competitor's with 4 buttons. I'd change if you had it.

Can't connect device to wifi. Apparently I have to use a different phone. I try that and every time I go to the setup wifi screen, the app only displays a white screen. It connects to Bluetooth but even then half the time it says it's offline. I restart the app 3 or 4 times and it will finally go online. Most these apps are hit or miss some days but this is one of the worst I've had to use. I cant even use google home because I cant setup the wifi.

Literally unable to use the app due to bad design. I use a password manager and have unique passwords for hundreds of sites/apps/etc. The Hubspace app redirects away from the login/enrollment screen when switching apps, so I cant even enroll. There does not appear to be a website that I can use to enroll separately. Would prefer not to disclose what password manager I use publicly. (Update: Disabled my password manager to create an account but haven't had to re-login yet.)

Hey Matthew, what password manager are you using? The app opens up a web view to get login credentials, and I would think most password managers would cope with the web view, unless something weird is happening here. You could also register manually and cut/paste the credentials from your manager, then it should pick up on the next login maybe? -JG
