About this app

Read, play, and learn with Daniel Tiger’s Storybooks – a collection of favorite stories from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood!

The Daniel Tiger’s Storybooks app is a library of interactive stories narrated by Daniel Tiger. The stories show Daniel learning little life lessons, like sharing with friends and being a helper. Each book includes a familiar song, charming animations, and a simple game to encourage children to play about the theme of the story. All books are available in English and Spanish.

Features:
-6 Interactive Storybooks: Big Brother Daniel, Daniel Shares His Tigertastic Car, Daniel and His Friends, Daniel’s Babysitter, Neighborhood Clean Up, and Something Special For Dad
-2 Reading Modes: With the narration on, Daniel Tiger reads the books. Children can follow the highlighted text to help develop beginning reading skills. Turn the narration off to read the book or tell the story yourselves.
-Songs from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, including “Grownups come back” and “Clean up, pick up, put away, clean up every day.”
-Simple games at the end of each book, like helping Mom Tiger with Baby Margaret and playing peekaboo with Daniel and Tigey.
-Talking Tips for parents to help relate Daniel’s stories to your child’s everyday life.
-Available in English and Spanish
-More books coming soon!

Daniel Tiger’s Storybooks gives families a fun way to read, sing, and talk together. Research shows that children learn more when a parent or caregiver reads and talks with them about the story. Reading together also helps start conversations between kids and parents – and sets the foundation for a lifelong love of reading.

Daniel Tiger’s Storybooks is based on the hit PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, produced by Fred Rogers Productions.

Books (about 10 of them), design and settings look nice for use on a tablet. Only the two preloaded books work though. I've tried reloading them several times and it says they are loaded, but it's just empty inside

This apo used to work great on my old phone (Galaxy S6) and my son loved it; but it will not even open in my new phone (OnePlus 6T). I've tried deleting and reinstalling, but it did not fix the issue. I just get an error message that says "Storybooks Keeps Stopping" I hope this gets fixed soon!

The read along text is tiny. I wish the story text font size could be increased. Along with that, tapping on individual words to hear it pronounced would be awesome and helpful for little readers practicing on their own.
