About this game

FOR THE BEARD!

Starbeard is a roguelike romp that turns match 3 puzzles on their head, combining tactical tussles and community developed content, all with characters that’ll leave you starry eyed.

The evil Gnomad wants to destroy the environment with his insatiable gluttony, whilst his pansy of a brother is out to get filthy rich. Despite this, players will spread gardens throughout the Galaxy with the colourful and crazy powers of the Starbeard Gnomes, and can also create a gnome of their own design!

Slay the Spire meets Candy Crush with no micro transactions. It took me a while to get a hang of the game but learning it is half the fun. Got all the characters to Starbeard and now play the daily challenges. The only thing is I wish there were more (the best kind of complaint to have when it took 6 months of daily play to "beat" it) great game definitely worth the one time purchase price.

I really like this game however I have one big problem with it. The New Journey button overlaps with the Click Portal on the previous screen and it's happened about three times now that I wasn't thinking about it and I tapped the screen rapidly to try to get through the initial screen and I ended up resetting a journey that I had several hours in already. Could you please make it so you either have to click a secondary confirm button when you reset your journey, or make the reset button higher?

I like the concept of this game a lot and when the board's RNG let's me really play with the game systems, levels can be very satisfying. However I felt the shortcomings of the game prevented me from enjoying it, leaving me feeling somewhat frustrated. Satisfying combos happen by accident, bugs will shift and destroy blocks/themselves randomly, the mystery event tiles feel unimportant, game play reels rigid. Most turns feel like you can't do enough to be impactful, leaving you feeling frustrated
