About this app

Our free Spectral Analysis app makes it easy to incorporate spectroscopy into your biology and chemistry labs. Using the app, students can collect a full spectrum and explore topics such as Beer’s law, enzyme kinetics, and plant pigments.

The user-friendly interface walks the students through the data-collection process and includes analysis features such as curve fitting and data interpolation.

This app absolutely sucks. Along with the spectrophotometer + fluorometer, the device is CONSTANTLY disconnecting from the app, and when it does, the app refuses to reconnect to the device. Along with just generally being clunky to navigate, you'd think AUTOSAVE would be a feature. Or at least, when you do save your work, it properly saves. But in my case, a week's worth of data is now missing because of this garbage.

Cannot connect to spectrometer. There is nothing wrong with the equipment since it works fine from the Apple App but does not work with the Android app at all.
