The app and program provide some great information as you work on improving your health and nutrition. However, you cannot create your own recipes to log (have to use a different program to calculate recipe nutrition and add limited info each time, does not save!). As others have mentioned, the scanning feature hardly ever works and when it does, it's usually not correct. Also, the app does not want to load lately. I have to restart the app multiple times before it loads despite reinstalling.

This app is like the emperor's new clothes. There are some helpful therapy techniques and a calorie tracker, but those are available elsewhere for free. The gamification of weight loss can be motivating, but not worth the ridiculous price. Speaking of price, when you go to cancel your free trial, it knocks the cost down 2-3 times, until you're finally looking at something almost close to reasonable. So, if you do want in, call their bluff and don't buy the first or second offer.

Could be better... system pedometer is glitchy and unreliable. Barcode scanner rarely pulls up foods I scan, and that includes some pretty basic, straightforward products. No matter how many times I click "cancel" for notifications, I am constantly asked if I want to activate notifications. I find these deficiencies extremely annoying since it isn't cheap to join. These don't seem like difficult fixes. C'mon Noom, set the bar higher for your product! You can do it. But, you have to want to.
