"Auralux is real-time strategy in its purest form... It's simple. It's elegant. It's slow and engrossing." – Kotaku

"Auralux is a success. It distills the real-time-strategy game to its purest form." - The A.V. Club

"The later game introduces some very interesting mechanics though, such as black holes, gamma ray bursts, and orbiting planets... There is something for everyone." – Techgage

I played this game ages ago and loved it. I've revisited it, and I don't know what they changed, but the controls have gotten to be pretty much unusable. When I have units selected and try to target a sun, most of the time it just changes my selection, and it takes about three tries to get what I select to move where I want them to go. In the past, I got through almost the whole game, beating most of the insane levels, but now I'm so hobbled, I often lose easy levels to stupid control problems.

Used to be a fun game, now, the movement system on it makes it almost unplayable. I can't capture a planet without my units going to the next universe for a diet coke and hamburger. Its awful. And don't even get me started on the zooming. Ill have all my troops selected and I'll zoom in, and it makes my troops go to an area I never even clicked. Fun game. Impossible to play. Edit, as of today, the zooming seems to have been fixed, and the movement system seems to be mostly as well. Updated to 4

I play this almost daily and love it. Replay ability, absolutely! Only issue is some of the insane levels are damn near impossible, but still a great game. The best money I've spent on a phone game ever. Would love new levels or additional constellations. *Update - Still love it and still play often. Any idea of new levels or a III???

What's new

* New constellation, Fracture! Your planets in this constellation will rupture and be rendered uneffective when attacked, bringing yet another strategic twist to the game.
* Multiplayer improvements! Better performance and fixed a matchmaking bug
* Units will now flow around suns, make the game feel more realistic
* Fixed a crash on startup that effected people with corrupted save data
