Completely worthless alpha-level software. This should not have been released. To use it, you have to make sure you are logged in on your phone first (this has to be done manually). If not, you have to unplug your phone, log in, and plug it back in. Then you have to go to this "app" within Weblink and tab the Alexa button. There was zero thought given to how someone would actually use this. It's just "check the box" so Pioneer could put Alexa support on their features list.

I have installed a Pioneer DMH-C2550NEX head unit and installed this app. It's cool to have Alexa available in the car. However I don't really understand why it only works when my phone is unlocked and the screen is mirrored. The phone gets hot in this state. If you have an Amazon Prime Music subscription you have a world of content at your fingertips. Otherwise you still have Iheart, Pandora, tunein, etc plus weather, sports, and news

Installed a Pioneer dmh-2660 NEX deck and it is great. Google assistant works great. I love Alexa and have several at my home so, it's nice having Alexa in the car, although I found that not all functions are available, like announcements. That's a downer. And, it makes absolutely no sense that you have to touch the icon to activate Alexa! If the app is open and connected, why would it not be voice enabled with the wake word for a complete hands-free driving experience??? Needs to be fixed.
