About this app

The TFI Go App allows you to buy tickets for participating Transport for Ireland bus services and participating commercial bus operators directly from your phone. Your ticket is downloaded to the TFI Go App and can be used to travel straight away. There’s no need for printing, simply activate your ticket before each journey and show it to the driver while boarding.

To avail of discounted Young Adult and Student fares a valid TFI Young Adult or Student Leap Card must be shown to the driver when boarding.

Absolutely the worst transport app I have ever had the displeasure of using, painfully slow to load, one wrong click forces you back to the start and more often than not will stop working entirely once you reach the payment page, I have never seen an app that wants business and money less than this and adds an additional stress to every journey Update: The app has gotten far worse, it has begun removing entire routes that still exist forcing you to pay cash at a higher rate

Very helpful app but irish transport cannot make a reliable app. Its never worked. This app is great for buying tickets but once every month or so it logs me out and does not let me back in unless I uninstall it. So every month I'll be trying to get on a bus and all of a sudden it signs me out. Happens way more than I'd like it to and I've missed buses before from having to uninstall it and reinstall it. Always carry cash because u never know.

Horrible app. You need to know exact location and often the exact number of the bus stop you'll depart from/arrive to - before you can book tickets. The menu options are painfully slow to load and it keeps freezing, then skipping back to the start. Go back to the drawing board and start again. This is awful to use.
