Phil Vischer is a writer, animator, and filmmaker who set out in 1990, at the age of 24, to combine his faith with his filmmaking. After experimenting with an animated candy bar, Phil switched (at the advice of his wife Lisa) to a healthier option, a tomato and a cucumber. Over the next decade, Phil’s creation exploded into a genuine cultural phenomenon, putting Phil’s faith-filled stories in households across America.
