"...gorgeously-rendered art that succeeds in capturing the essence of the television show, and sets that simply drip with the atmosphere of a 1920s period piece." -- Digitally Downloaded.net

"The dialogue is strong; you can flirt with Jack as much as you want, you can tease your allies and you can come out with some witty one-liners." -- Starburst Magazine

"The game plays out as part visual novel, part puzzle game. Think of it as a little like an Ace Attorney game, and you’re not far off." -- Gamezebo

If you've ever watched Miss Fisher's mysteries TV series and you liked it then you will absolutely love this. I love it. It is entertaining, great puzzles, great dialog. Love that you have to figure out who did it with the deduce feature. Really well done. No ADS!!! I can not wait for episode 3 so excited. Please make more. Update: just heard no Ep.3. as it did not get the needed funding. Very sad but totally get that. Everyone regardless, play ep1 and 2. Excellent game. Well done dev team!!

This has an actual mystery story which I liked, and has a similar style to the show. The main negative is the user interface giving too much freedom. You can go anywhere, talk to most anyone, mix and match any clues... but the path forward is quite narrow. I was often left blindly matching clues to find what the game wanted. Even so this is fun. There's a paywall, but the game is upfront about being "free to try", and there's no ads so this is a fun app. I recommend this, warts & all. I had fun.

Hope the 3rd episode will come out soon! Can't wait to see what sort of shananigans these two will get into next. The game is well made, no noticeable glitches or annoying endless commercials, the story is very much in the spirit of the series, and the complete experience is fun and nostalgic. (Disclosure - while 1st episode is free (and no ads!) 2nd episode is not free but well worth the money (and probably pays for the free 1st episode. They should make all games like that))
