Update: I understand your point but cars now have Bluetooth built inside, that is always on (my phone recognizes my car and starts android auto as soon as I approach my car door and the car is still off). Also, adding an option to save the position once the phone is plugged out could help to avoid false positive! I understand not everyone has Sami situation, but more options could help it. Right now I was just walking inside my office and got a notification that I parked my car...

This is a good idea. But not all drivers turn on Bluetooth every time when they drive. And when car Bluetooth is off that doesn't mean parking, it can be just engine stop. Parking is detected when you start walking from your car.But if phone is connected to car Bluetooth then detection algorithm uses it for more accurate detection of driving start.

It didn't work for me l wanted to use it as a theft device I what'd to use it as a tracking device lf someone stole my car I'm at work and the map shows my car in the parking lot when in fact it's at home and I click on radar and all it does is beep

This app saves parking position when you leave your car. But it doesn't track your car when you are not in it. It tracks your phone actually.
