I've played Eve from the beginning. It's very hard to play for free. The Plex price has risen uncontrollably. The developers keep adding different things that make casual play impossible. I refuse to change play style and why should I. (Scanning) I now get scanned down in a mission. So all that training time invested in Battleships is useless. This game is not for the casual player. Either invest a lot of time or real money. I'm now refusing to do both.

This game started out good and I found my favorite aspect was playing industry mining and building ships. Unfortunately Netease decided to implement new game features like the insurance program which essentially made the industry aspect obsolete. Rather than fix what they've done to industry they instead have focused on making the game more pay to win. I find myself playing less and less as the things I enjoyed about the game have largely been eliminated or made obsolete.

Decent game, but I have serious reservations about the permissions it requires. This app can get precise GPS location. It's not an ARG, it doesn't tie into real world gameplay. No need for such fine details. It also doesn't take any pictures, yet it has permission to use your camera and record video. It can call phone numbers. It can view running apps. It can record audio. It can disconnect you from your WiFi, and it runs at startup. There are permissions it requests that are completely irrelevant to the operation of the game. I've seen similar permissions requested from apps that set up as a device administrator. In those cases, it made sense. Device administrators need complete control of the phone in order to work. This, however, is not one of those apps. There's something very, very wrong here, and it's enough to give me pause. Especially after everything that's been going on with Tencent and BlueHole lately. Run like hell, it's not worth it!
