Spartan, fully sufficient, easy to use. Fully works. I wish all apps were like this. Update 11/24 -- Most recent update is significantly slower than my prior version. Here's hoping tue next update with rectify this. 11/24 -- New software update appears to have corrected the slowness after a few minutes of testing. Here's hoping this is the case, and that the Libby engineers don't succumb to the clarion call of bloatware.

I love Libby. I've used it for years and it's really amazing. It's so easy to use and my library has acquired copies of so many books, it's rare I don't find something on Libby. Unfortunately the latest update has made it impossible for me to listen to an audio book. When I try, it continuously plays and pauses, multiple times a second, skipping back a bit each time. I unplug my headphones, it plays normally. Plug them back in, same thing. The latest update claims to fix it but didn't for me.

This app is, in my opinion, super easy to navigate for anyone who knows how to use a phone or tablet and read a book. It is mostly the same system as your public library, with a specific amount of copies for you to be able to read, as well as audio books (yet to try), a hold system for books that all the copies are taken, and loans must be returned in (in my experience) 21 days, to give everyone a chance to read the books. I really enjoy this app because it makes reading easy for anyone.

A fix for the issue where an audiobook would skip backward unexpectedly.
