+ Guided Audio Tours - Listen to more than four hours of audio narration to learn the history, mythology, and science of the heavens.

+ Galaxy View - Visualize the 3-D location of stars and deep sky objects in our Galaxy the Milky Way.

This eclipse app is okay. You can select a location and it'll tell you the four timings for contact (first, totality, exiting totality, and last). My huge complaint is that I purchased the app but the audio alarms are a "pro" feature that requires their subscription service. Who wants to spend their viewing experience looking at their phone to check time when they should be looking at the sky? The audio warnings/alarms should be included, I can get the timings for free from the internet.

The app is a full-featured mobile planetarium rather than a simple eclipse timer. To enjoy the audio timers & many more advanced features of the app, as well as enjoy larger object databases & in-depth content, you activate the FREE premium trial for 7 days. Even forgetting to cancel would have only been $1.99 & $2.98 total.. Incredible value.

Honestly, save your money for pro/+ if you're looking for a stargazing app for a telescope. Free sky safari does everything this does, The UI's are just nicer. I was impressed with the new UIs but was deeply disappointed with the fact that almost nothing is new features wise. Object placement is accurate. There is no equipment option. You do get access to 3D models of planets and nebulae, so that's neat. If it's a 3D observatory thing you're looking for, Celestia has a larger selection.

I'm disappointed that this app doesn't have live sky where you can point the phone to the sky and see what is there UPDATE 8/9/24 I don't know if it was the fact that I've got a new phone, or the Android system has been updated to 14, or what. I thought I would give it another shot and sure enough it view the night sky live. I will enjoy this app now.
