Welcome to Diem! We’re building the front door to “girl internet.”

Diem is a social-network-meets-search-engine designed for girls, women, and gender-expansive people. Our platform is full of collective knowledge from people all over the world. In Diem you can start conversations, discover a network of communities, connect over shared experiences, browse trending topics, search with Diem AI, and find answers to anything life throws at you. “How do I get over a friend breakup? What’s the best way to negotiate salary? My boyfriend follows models on Instagram—is that a red flag?” Your fellow Diemers are here to help.

Joining Diem means showing up with no judgment, and immersing yourself in the candid, funny, authentic, important, frenetic, supportive, outrageous, honest, and wholesome conversations of other Diemers, which span everything from birth control to friendship, sexuality to pop culture, parenting to relationships, money to reproductive health, career to books, and so much more. Diem is the best and biggest group chat you’ve ever been a part of. It’s giving… 1am girls bathroom energy.

We are starting to build out topic-based communities, we call these sub-feeds Spaces. Here's a few:

- BSA (Big Sis Advice): sometimes you just need sisterly advice!
- ITN (Is this normal…): we’ve all been there... searching the internet wondering if our experiences are “normal.”
- AMA (Ask Me Anything): wisdom you want to share? Start an AMA!
- NJP (No Judgment Pls): for all those questions you’re worried others will judge you for in the outside world.
- Hidden History: this is a Space to co-write underrepresented stories back into history.
- SOS: when you need the girls, ASAP!

Diem AI draws from across the internet and the collective wisdom of Diemers to generate you a speedy answer. It will also deliver previous, related conversations as your search results. You can dive in to these existing community perspectives OR you can post your search to the community feed too!

Safety First

Safety & moderation are our top priority at Diem. See something, say something! We have distributed moderation—if you report something, we review it, ensuring there’s no violation of the community culture.

We think of the anonymous feature as a confidence booster. Sometimes posting ‘taboo’ questions or personal stories publicly can be nerve-wracking, so this feature is designed to make you feel more comfortable while getting the advice you need.
