Hi! If there is a temporary disruption anywhere between you and the other player, Nitro Nation will let both racers finish their runs. The game will fall to the asynchronous mode where you race independently, and the results are then compared by the server and sent out, which sometimes could turn out as a loss that first looked like a win.
