Art of Conquest : Airships

It's a quite good game overall. I was pondering between 3 and 4 stars, but went with 3 as the gameplay as a whole holds up, but the PVP is a garbage dumpsterfire that is made to be as little fun as possible. "Cheating" is basically encouraged. But it has a good amount of events and minigames that can keep you entertained. World map is top down, and very reminiscent of the 90's hotseat games. Which is a nice callback. Tap controls are sadly very inaccurate at times. And turns into "find the pixel". Which is extra bad when it's a real time event. And even when it pauses, you aren't allowed to scroll between abilities anyhow. It is mostly an issue on larger scale battles however. Time and resources does scale well as you progress in game. It does escalate a bit silly in certain areas. But overall, it's a good progression. Though, that said: It kinda glosses over a lot of things that are vital. Like, it only off handed mention that I could get a dragon. And never notified me again. So I got mine 3 levels too late. (While it notifies you 12 times about something rather irrelevant. Like your arena position) Dragons themselves are a bit of too annoying RNG. The rest of the RNG is acceptable. Some of it is even 100 % after a while, which is nice. It has a good amount of races and heroes. Though, I feel the game could do better in letting you test them out. Like, allowing you to at least play a test battle with the core 4 units, along with a description of the race. As, there's no way to test this in game without spending a ton of resources and weeks of time. That said, the biggest, wet dumpsterfire of the game: Is the PVP. It has 0 regards for balance or anything. It highly encourages bullying. And someone 50 levels/2 years above you, can just casually stroll in and delete 2 weeks of gameplay, and "ban" (fully prevent) you from playing the game for 1-24 hours. And there's nothing you can do about it. And the game basically just laughs at you. If someone attacks you. Your options are: Fight and have your troops deleted and heroes injured. And not be allowed to play for hours. Or flee. And have your heroes automatically injured and not be allowed to play for hours. Most pvp events are equally a mess. Thinking that basically the pee wee hockey team with toddlers and 2000 power, are a PERFECT opponent against the world champions 800 000 power team. The complete disregard for balance is very disappointing imo. But, there's thankfully a lot of pve and group events to make up for it. Also doesn't help how there's some events where someone can basically show up 90 % into the event, and just steal the victory. But all and all. I do enjoy the customization and progression the game offers as a whole. The PVP is just the big, ugly blemish on it. It even offers good subscription and some payment options.

I realy like this game, but you need to decrease the healing time in the hospital.
