The app has been working fine with Android 9 in our testing -- and unfortunately your review does not provide any information as to which device you experienced issues with.

Vuforia view do not support spatial target, I am using sony xz2premium with Android 8.

According to https://developers.google.com/ar/discover/supported-devices, ARCore support on this device requires Android 8 and security patch level 2018-08-05 or later. ARCore 1.4 or higher must also be installed -- as spatial tracking is not supported on this device without it.
