This app is EVERYTHING you will need to learn how to read rhythm, and my favorite thing about it is how much there is to help you learn ADVANCED rhythms! Now, it's not perfect, but I have yet to encounter a perfect app in my life. It still gets 5 stars to me because it has so many useful features I would have never thought of adding. And for a one-time purchase?? It blows other apps that charge monthly out of the water! (Btw I promise I wasn't paid to say this lol)

It's a very good app to use outside of musical classes and just for daily practice. The only issue I'm having is that I cant hear the difference between the held piano and where it cuts off, so I mess up a lot of the hearing sections. Is there a setting to add like some sort of pulse effect to make it more clear? Or could you add that pls? I know it's my fault I'm not as sensitive to hearing but for beginners it's more important to get the rhythm

Thank you for the feedback. Might be the phone cutting the audio under a certain level. Did you try with a good pair of headphones? Best, Stéphane.

I think this is app is nearly perfect, but the calibration beginning has me worried. This is an app to study rhythm and being precise in placement of beats; I showed my student this, and he has a tendency to tap earlier than the beat consistently. I saw that he was doing this for the calibration as he just downloaded the app, and I had to do it for him in fear of the app instilling in him that his off-kiltered recalibrated taps were the norm.

Unfortunately, without calibration it's not possible technically to measure precisely the delay between an audio event and a user input. Apps that are not doing this are relying on approximations that are way worse than even a "bad" calibration from a beginner student. I would not worry too much about it though. Best, Stéphane.
