This is probably my favorite of the GM/HC games. I love the roster turnover that happens in college sports, and I also am really enjoying coach mode and feel that it really adds to the game. It is quite challenging at first, but I appreciate that I can be successful without paying for boosts with some patience. The UI is a little clunky, and I feel some of the instructions/tutorial could be a little more descriptive, eg, what does the little heart icon mean next to a player's style?

Hello Russell, thanks so much for the great review and feedback. The heart icon means HOME STATE link - players with same state as your user coach, get a boost from the coach :) Feel free to join our community on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/ucollegefootballcoach.

Complete money grab. You can't even be below average without spending money. Unbelievably unbalanced. The game gives you a balance sheet. Any time you upgrade facilities, the deficit grows. The game gives you zero opportunity to get enough income to overcome the deficit. So once your season starts, oh look, you need to fill a coach position. But that costs money. So the game literally ends. You can't do anything 😂 Joke game. Edit: no your game isn't difficult, just horribly programmed.

Hi John, managing finances may be difficult at first, but you can absolutely progress without making any purchases. Don't rush when you start, upgrade only facilities you absolute require to further improve your team. And make sure you always meet the goal you set with the president - it gives you more funds to work with the following year.

I do not understand how to create a good team. I've played all the other games from this developer and can created a dynasty fairly quick. But this game seems to make it impossible so far for a bottom ranked team to ever make it to the top ranks. I've played for 15 seasons and can never seem to get enough player drafted to get recruit points back. Any suggestions would be nice. So far it's fun but frustrating. Thanks.
