When attempting to use Googe Assistant to make phone calls or send/read text messages in Android Auto, Assitant tells me that I need to enable personal results in settings. That setting is toggled on, yet still receive the same error. I've tried every solution I've been able to find in community help, including plugging in my phone to Android Auto via USB cable and toggling the personal results setting off then back on, but nothing has worked.

The app has always been ok, but not great (it's very buggy). My phone recently updated and broke the app. I've updated Google Maps and it didn't fix it (google Maps won't even find my location anymore) and if I try to use the voice feature, it'll start but automatically crash. I really hope this gets updated soon because I am verrrry directionally challenged and one wrong turn around the area could drop me off in a bad spot.

Some big improvement in Android Auto. Need to be able to set up the options for text messages to be able to have them to be read by command or to allow by a touch to the screen or say yes. I use Waze and have trouble reporting the traffic issues on command. For example "vehicle on shoulder, heavy traffic, stand still traffic by using your voice say ok Google first and the commands listed above. System works as designed; then the very next drive it will not except any voice commands.
