This is a fun little game, but it has a few issues. For one, the fishing rod doesn't work. No matter how I tap or drag or slide my finger the reel never budges. Also, the level caps of your opponents is ridiculous. Be prepared to spend weeks farming for Green Stones in order to fuse monsters to a higher rating... Unless you wanna dish out real money that is. It also seems lopsided how often you miss/crit versus when the opponent does.

The game itself is relatively amusing and scratches the nostalgic pocket monster itch. But there are so many ads it's borderline unplayable. The there are a ton of optional ads for increased rewards which is fine. But it seems like every trainer fight - definitely the ones with storyline significance - has an ad. It really is an ad about every 2 minutes. My last gripe is that there's a difficulty spike at the second gym master that's seemingly insurmountable.

Brilliant Pokemon style game, however, when facing luke's gym, I defeated the two little goons that lead up to him, then left to level up my Negamon. This then led to the game acting like I'd already defeated him and promptly locked me out of the gym whilst still prompting me to beat him. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but obviously lost progress. Might be worth the devs looking into this sort of thing but other than that, really enjoyable!
