About this app

You can use the Vy app to quickly find departures for journeys by train, bus, metro, tram and boat across Norway. You can buy tickets from Vy and other transport companies such as Go-Ahead, SJ, Ruter, Kolumbus, Skyss and Brakar. It should always be easy to make the eco-friendly choice when travelling, so the Vy app also lets you:

· See relevant suggested itineraries in the journey planner – including how long it takes to walk or bike
· Get real-time information on all departures
· Receive push notifications about delays and cancellations affecting your journey
· View your tickets and present your ticket for inspection
· Check how full each carriage on your train is
· Save your favourite routes and places that you frequently visit
· Book taxis across much of the country
· Listen to audiobooks and podcasts, and read newspapers and magazines

Thank you for travelling by public transport. Every journey counts!

The app crashed on my phone and had to reinstall. I had to transfer my ticket to the same device i reinstalled the app on. I understand why my period ticket is locked to a device however the app informed me that I could only transfer it up to 2 more times. No other ticket apps in Norway give this limitation, there is no reason this should be the case with VY. They are supposed to provide a service that is paid for. I rely on the trains for my commute. I expect stability from the trains.

Latest update drops all favorites the moment you exit the app, so that all notifications about deviation (which are constantly MANY to keep track of) stop. I'm logged in and it remembers my ticket and green travel activities, so why not this which is just as crucial as the ticket itself?

Frequently late because of waiting for another train to pass. How can things running on schedules just not be on schedule? Edit: So update and anticipate times better on the app. If the trains are frequently delayed put a little warning. Honestly if the "on time" statistics are going to be bad anyway, why not proactively warn customers? We dont care about targets and sales as much as we like knowing what to expect.

Hi, the play store reviews are about the app, not general reviews about companies.

What's new

Service announcements are a bit of a drag, but hopefully a bit less so with the new design! We’ve also fixed some minor bugs here and there.
