I have used this app for a few months now with no issues. It runs in the background, scans in real-time, and doesn't slow anything down. I'm still able to use every app I have on my phone with no issues whatsoever. To be honest, I forgot it was on my phone until tonight when it needed an update. (I do manual app updates). Microsoft scans your phone, computer (PC app required), the dark web for your info and so much more. VPN works great for using public WIFI and 5GB is included, all for free!!

Wow .... this is an interesting one. It was working perfectly fine, then it froze on a screen and was just dead. I force stopped, rebooted and did uninstall and fresh install and nothing. I get a black screen with the blue Defender Logo sometimes and other times just a plain black screen. I've tried everything I know to do and yeah we get nothing..... and yes I have a 365 account and yes it's frustrating that the app isn't working at all.

It stopped working with the Android 12 July security update. It reports that it's "Not Connected" and then says "Subscribe to Microsoft 365" after logging into my account it still doesn't work even though I'm subscribed to Microsoft 365. It says "Your Device is at risk Required permissions for device security are missing. Tap for Details". Tapping just brings me back to the screen that asks me to subscribe to Microsoft 365. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't help.
