They were right - there is a way without power-ups 🤦 5/5, up from 3/5. Thanks! Old review: Stuck on level 48 with no way to progress short of spending real-world cash. There doesn't seem to be a way to optionally watch ads in exchange for gold, power-ups, etc. This has been the best screw game I've tried so far, though, out of A. Lot. of screw games.

It's a fun game but you cannot progress without in-app purchases. If you don't buy the tools there are many levels that you cannot complete because it is rigged to force you to buy the in-app purchases in order to progress in the game. Between the requirement to buy in-app purchases and the constant ads the game becomes annoying and or expensive very quickly

Reasons for a low rating. (1) Asked me after a solid 3 minutes of play to rate it. I waited until I played it for 15 minutes, but the longer I played, the more irksome it became. (2) Oops, I started a level, but could have built my city. Can I go back to do that and then continue this level? NO, or else you lose a heart. (3) It's not anything like as interesting as the ad. The ad looked fun. (4) What is the point of 5 screw holes if you can only use four? --- After 36 repetitive levels I deleted
