Game ends year 16, but everything is unlocked by year 10 and there's nothing to do after but level your residents. Animations (such as giving medals) are annoyingly slow with no speedup or skip. Pro tip: expand the bottom menu with the buttons and use that select button instead when trying to mass purchase from the shop, otherwise you will not have fun. The dungeon quests take too long while the kill-monster ones take 3 seconds. Most placed buildings are useless aside from circus and castle.

Pretty fun way to pass time. Its pretty good to play passively as you don't need to be constantly watching it. Some people say it goes by a little slow, which is true, but if it didn't then the game would be over too quick. Some of the mob quests seem unbeatable to me. I've got my team fully geared out and they still fail. Maybe I'll figure it out next playthrough. Ultimately it's an enjoyable low pace game, which is just what I was looking for

My friend recommended the sequel so I decided to play this first. Not a bad game, but has a lot of jank issues (and when relocating facilities costs gold, that's a problem). Pretty much every issue I have is fixed in the sequel, so if you're deliberating, I'd give this one a pass. It does have some fun stuff tho, and I like that it's offline.
